Syria, Bale & Bitcoins

It appears the the Democratic process is alive and kicking and the Great British Parliament has decided that another War isn't good for our constitution and France have decided they would like a go now and join the great war mongering nation that is the US of A (who clearly haven't learnt from recent incursions, but as Obama says this is not Iraq or Afghanistan. And on that count he is right. It is not Iraq or Afghanistan, it is Syria)

Putin seems to be playing politics now. On the one hand stating categorically that Russia do not support intervention yet on the other cutting off Assads Missile supplies and stating that the use of Chemical Weapons is very bad)

And 2 million Syrians leave and Turkey becomes full of immigrants and the far right are raising their ugly head as the Syrians are getting housing, benefits and work which are the privilege of the Turks and not immigrants.

And so it goes (as Kurt Vonnegut once said)

Still, here's to Gareth Bale for negotiating a £1,500 / hour salary in a country that is nearly Bankrupt and of the people his age 56% are unemployed. Its not even that Bale is a socialist so could trickle down his money to help Spain. It will be paid to his holding company who are based offshore. He will be getting tips from Ronaldo's accountant on that one.

I was out with my Hedge Fund friend last night who along with avoiding Skyscrapers trying to burn his Aston Martin is busy mining Bitcoins as he is predicting the collapse of currencies and the bank system as we know it.

I wonder if Bale knows how to mine...
