Hungry for horses?

It will come as no surprise to any one that follows this blog and knows me from elsewhere that I am allergic to meat. I am therefore vegetarian (though i despise the term and its leftist pseudo hippy connotations)

Ever since my days at Eton i have been unable to hold down anything that was once killed.

Lately I have been reading up on the global effects of our massive need for meat. Methane production (leading to global warming), pollution, deforestation, drugs and abuse.

So for those of you that are appalled at eating Horse, why differentiate between one animal and another.

Einstein once said that in the future everyone would be vegetarian. Perhaps we are at the turning point.

Off to the country this afternoon for some golf and brandy at the stately home of a dear friend who I had the pleasure to work along side in the military, but that's another story....
